When I Run

When I run I lift my eyes above the beauty I see, seeking and searching God in what is unseen. As sure as the swift steps my feet may find me, He meets me in glorious moments of His radiance. Sometimes I capture these on camera and other times I capture them in my heart and cherish them - testimonies of this wildly beautiful and steadily sure Love Affair that defines and strengthens my life for life. I say Lord let this be the moment I remember today and I mean it. I breathe it. I feel it. I acquaint myself with every inch of it for those other moments in the day that challenge me. I behold it so thoroughly that even in the evening hours when the light of the sun is slowly sinking, I remember and my heart is lifted in God’s Love for me.

This morning as I was reading Psalm 139 I could see so clearly, that this beholding is how God apprehends each one of us.

“Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God your desires towards me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.”

You cherish me constantly in your every thought. More than the grains of sand on every shore!

You are cherished constantly in God’s every thought. Just as I admire a stunning scene on my morning runs and know God’s love but in a moment in my day that sustains and carries and fuels me, so He too beholds each one of us in constant love and affection. His Love for us is His constant air and energy.

Be comforted and confident today dear ones no matter what you are facing or what is facing you, that His ever steady sure Love is for you, like a cherished moment that is ever present before Him. The word says He lives to make intercession for you. Know that prayers for you are being heard in heaven even at this very hour.
